international day of families
On 15 May 1994, at the United Nation’s initiative, we celebrated the first International Day of Families, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of the family as the basic unit of society and to promoting its development and protection. The family provides us with security, support and love, and is crucial for the development of personalities in children. One of the foundations of a happy family is a roof over their head. We have put together some tips on how to make your home cosy
and neat, which will help improve your mood and satisfaction.
Be neat and organised
To be organised and neat is very important for daily activities such as preparing meals, cleaning and tidying up. If tasks are divided and everyone is aware of their role, it undoubtedly reduces stress and tensions within the family. A neat and clean home feels more pleasant to all family members. Although children may resist this at first, they will surely admit this once they see the fruits of their labour. Find ways to involve them in keeping your home neat and clean.
Personalise your home
A space you live in only becomes a home when you put a personal touch to it and adjust it to your taste and lifestyle. Encourage all family members to participate in the choice of home accessories and decorations to express their personality and style. Be creative and create something unique with your children; this will also be another opportunity to spend quality time together.
Switch off your devices
Our home is our refuge, the place where we belong and where we create memories. No one thing is more important in our home than the people who live in it. Love each other and communicate respectfully. Switch off your TV and smart devices, make time for each other. Children who grow up in such an environment will be happier and more successful.
